The course is great for intermediate to advanced riders, with some single track trails going up and some single track trails coming down.

Cat 1 (Expert) 14.5 miles
Cat 2 (Sport) 9.9 miles
Cat 3 (Beginner) 5.3 miles
Red River Ski Area
It is approximately 1,600 vertical feet to the top of Red River Ski Area. Strap your mountain bike to the back of the Platinum chairlift, unload, and cruise down the mountain on a variety of trails, hike around Red River Ski Area and have lunch at the Lift House Bar and Grill or at The Tip Restaurant (located at the top of the ski area), or just catch a round trip ride and enjoy the simplicity and beauty of the mountains.
*The trail is an unimproved jeep road.
THE RACE:
Medical assistance is available as needed. Extra t-shirts will be on sale Saturday, August 25th at the Lift House Bar and Grill. There will be three aid stations on the race course. All racers must register and sign the waiver/release form before race packets will be released. Race packets include the racer’s number and course information and will be available by
email or for pick-up beginning on Friday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m. Racers will receive two “spectator discount tickets” for the chair lift, all other spectators must pay full price to ride the chair lift ($12). If you cannot make the race and still want to receive your t-shirt, please have someone pick up your t-shirt or send $6 for postage.
